Myerly Publications - Susan Sligh

Sue Sligh has had several freelance and part-time businesses since 1982, all of which involved graphic design and printing. In 2003, she changed the name from K&D Business Services (named after her first two children) to Myerly Publications (an acronym formed from her last three children’ names). Formerly a math major at Queens College in New York City, her interest turned to computer programming, and she studied Fortran and taught herself Basic and COBOL. She later became a software specialist for a D.C. law firm because of her knowledge of multiple word processing, spreadsheet, database, and graphical software programs. In 2004 she published Hughesville’ first community magazine, The Hughesville Gazette.

Myerly Publications provides graphic design services to printers, newsletter layout for local publishers, and print broker services to the general public. The function of a print broker is to find the best quality print service at the most reasonable price.  Customers utilizing Myerly’s print broker services receive free graphic service.

Myerly’s printed products include stationery, calendars; designer product labels; magnetic car signs; banners; promotional products, such as cups, pens, balloons; stamps and embossers; and a variety of business forms. Some of these products are available for purchase online at http://www.myerlyprints2.singleresource.com. However, feel free to call the office at 301-274-1760 or e-mail to myerlypublications@comcast.net for more information or pricing questions.
